The title '"Voor de Helsdeur" (in front of the door of Hell) has both a literal and a figurative meaning.

The site has its origin in the 1980's in a general medical practice in Den Helder.

The inquiring doctor had his practice at a stone's throw from the pumping station "De Helsdeur: (Door of Hell).

The history of publishing inquiry results still continues and shows the manners of investigation institutes, scientists and editors throughout the decades.

The scientific fraude during the past period is not new but it is a final blow for publishing scientific investigation on a regular base. It is the final move to come to a different approach: Away from the Door of Hell".
